Goodwood Motor Circuit

Goodwood is available to hire exclusively for a full day or half a day. Hire includes all necessary marshals, paramedics, ambulance and support vehicles. You also have access to the period-style paddocks, with parking bays for up to 100 cars and competitors. To experience the thrill of driving this great circuit, Goodwood can create an event specifically tailored for you and your guests – whether it is in your own car, a classic single-seater or modern performance road car. We can even provide professionally run racing cars from some of today’s top championship series, race school instruction and team activities.

Prodrive at Goodwood 2007

Goodwood has an exciting new partnership with Prodrive, one of the world’s leading motor sport teams, to provide a unique track days featuring Aston Martins and rally stage experience. For more than 20 years, their rallying programme for the WRC Subaru World Rally Team has produced six world champions including Colin McRae and Richard Burns. Prodrive is also responsible for the Aston Martin’s return to world sports car racing. Their DBR9 competed in both the FIA GT series and at Formula one teams, Prodrive has guaranteed entry to the 2008 F1 World Championship. Prodrive brings twenty years’ experience of running race and rallying programmes for the biggest names in motor sport.

The Aston Martin Sports Car Experience

In 1959, Sir Stirling Moss won the 1959 Tourist Trophy at Goodwood in his Aston Martin DBR1, which clinched the World Sportscar Championship for Aston Martin – the first British marque to win this title – and secured his reputation. Inspired by that win, almost 50 years later, the very same marque prepared by Prodrive, will be available at Goodwood. Drive not only a track prepared version of the V8 Vantage but, most incredibly, an Aston Martin DBRS9 sports endurance race car, inspired by Aston Martin’s 2006 Le Mans entry. We can arrange for Sir Stirling Moss and his original Aston Martin DBR1 to join you.

Rally Driving at Goodwood

Designed specifically for Goodwood’s Festival of Speed by rallying legend Hannu Mikkola, this challenging rally stage is now uniquely available for you to stage your own event. Prodrive’s specially prepared Group N Subaru Rally Cars are powered by out team of top rally drivers to give you a thrilling demonstration of sideways driving at its best! It’s up to you to call the shots as co-driver for the rally pro… do you have what is takes to complete the course against your team mates without dropping a corner? Cars power off from the start through the woodlands, with the rally pro at the wheel and you picking the best route through the forest course which has been widened in places to make it faster, safer and more spectacular. There will also be an opportunity to drive a Prodrive prepared Subaru STI WRX on our specially designed self drive course… a real challenge, even for the top drivers. Goodwood is the only venue to bring both a motor circuit and a rally stage together in one unique action packed event.

Race Car & Sports Car Experience

For the Superlative track day, choose from the latest sports performance road cars from the leading marques of the world: Audi, Maserati, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini; or why not sample classic 1950s and 1960s motoring from the era that made Goodwood famous. For a truly breathtaking adventure, take a unique opportunity to drive and be driven in a fully factory prepared race car. The Basic experience includes circuit hire, sighting laps in saloon cars and instruction for you and your guests. From this. You may then select from a number of options for additional car hire, VIP Drivers and so on. Subject to your approval, we can then work together to find the right combination for your event. We very much expect that this type of event will exceed anything you may have had anywhere else.

Offshore Powerboat Challenge

Our Fleet of powerboats is the real deal. Officially registered as an international offshore racing class, the V-24 is an incredible feat of marine engineering. It is no surprise that with throaty V8 engines delivering over 320 pbh and with their distinctive hull and wing shape, these magnificent machines are powered to over 80 mph!. The day begins with breakfast at the historic Southampton Yacht Club followed by a full safety briefing. After which guests join our 54ft luxury cabin cruiser to transfer to the powerboats waiting at the moorings. From the sanctuary of their 24ft monocoque, guests will have the thrill of their life as they power around Hamble. It is offshore powerboating at its best.
